Hi gals and guys I am about two weeks through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to comprehend the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with ratio formula. Could somebody out there please teach me with radical equations, like denominators and equivalent fractions. I can’t afford to pay for a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of mastering topics like percentages or powers without fuss , please get back to me Thanks

What exactly don't you understand about ratio formula? I recall having problem with the same thing in Algebra 2, so I think I could try to give you some ideas on how to approach such problems. However if you want help with algebra on a long term basis, then you should buy Algebrator, that's what I did in my Basic Math, and I have to say it's the best ! It's less costly than a tutor and you can count on it anytime you feel like. It's not hard to use it, even if you never ever had a similar software . I would advise you to purchase it as soon as you can and forget about getting a algebra teacher. You won't regret it!

I completely agree, Algebrator is great ! I am much better in math now , and I have the best grades in the class! It helped me even with the most difficult math problems, like those on logarithms or geometry. I really think you should try it .

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several algebra classes - Algebra 2, Intermediate algebra and Algebra 1. It is a really a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through difficulties with reducing fractions, cramer’s rule and algebra formulas. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook , click on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework. I highly recommend the program.
