You might want to try out Algebrator. I bought it some time back to help me with my Remedial Algebra course and I can say that it was really a wise decision. There are so many demos given which you can browse through. You can also try out the questions related to x-intercept and like denominators by just typing them in. Algebrator provides complete description to the problems which helps to make difficult concepts understandable . I would say that this program is absolutely the best that money can buy.

It is good to know that you wish to improve your math and are taking efforts to do so. I think you should try Algebrator. This is not exactly a tutoring device but it offers solutions to math problems in a very descriptive manner. And the best thing about this software product is that it is very user friendly. There are several examples given under various topics which are quite helpful to learn the subject. Try it and wish you good luck with math.

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several algebra classes - College Algebra, Algebra 2 and Remedial Algebra. It is a truly a great piece of math software. I remember of going through difficulties with unlike denominators, logarithms and solving inequalities. I would simply type in a problem homework, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.

Since the Algebrator is user friendly, any one can get it installed and start using it within minutes. Prior know-how is not at all necessary to work with the Algebrator. Be it evaluating formulas, conversion of units or graphing lines, go ahead and type it in the search box that comes up as soon as you open Algebrator. This brings you a select set of results that offer all the necessary information on the heading of your choice. You can go through the links one by one and completely understand the basic principles of Basic Math.
