Hi there I have almost taken the decision to look fora math private teacher, because I've been having a lot of stress due to algebra homework this year. each time when I come home from school I spend hours and hours with my math homework, and after all the time spent I still seem to be getting the wrong answers. However I'm also not certain whether a algebra private teacher is worth it, since it's very costly , and who knows, maybe it's not even so good . Does anyone know anything about simplify sums and differences of radicals with fractional radicands for children that can help me? Or maybe some explanations regarding gcf,ratios or greatest common factor? Any ideas will be much appreciated .

I tried out several but then the finest that I found was Algebrator. Merely keyed in the problem and hit the ‘solve’. I got the answer immediately . I remember having difficulties with absolute values, quadratic formula and subtracting exponents. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 1, Pre Algebra and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
