Hey dudes, I am about two weeks through the semester, and getting a bit worried about my course work. I just don’t seem to pick up the stuff I am learning, especially things to do with free help for teaching basic algebra to college students. Could somebody out there please explain to me with simplifying expressions, reducing fractions and distance of points. I can’t afford to get a tutor, but if anyone knows about other ways of learning topics like trigonometric functions or equation properties painlessly , please help me out Thanks heaps

The perspective you’ve adopted towards the free help for teaching basic algebra to college students is not the a good one. I do understand that one can’t really think of something else in such a situation. Its good that you still want to try. My key to easy problem solving is Algebrator I would advise you to give it a try at least once.

Yeah, that’s so true . I’ve tried that software program in the past and it works like a charm. The step by step that it provides, will not only solve the problem at hand, but will also equip you with the knowledge to solve similar questions in the future. All my doubts pertaining to converting fractions and 3x3 system of equations were cleared once I started using this software. So go ahead and try Algebrator.

You can order it online through this link – https://www-mathtutor.com/polynomials.html. I personally think it’s a really good software and the fact that they even offer an unconditional money back guarantee makes it a must buy right away .

I remember having difficulties with multiplying matrices, adding functions and equivalent fractions. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 1, Intermediate algebra and College Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
