My son Ryan has become very knowledgeable with algebraic equations thanks to using this quality piece of software. Thank you very much!
Johnson, NY

I am a parent of an 8th grader:The software itself works amazingly well - just enter an algebraic equation and it will show you step by step how to solve and offer clear, brief explanations, invaluable for checking homework or reviewing a poorly understood concept. The practice test with printable answer key is a great self check with a seemingly endless supply of non-repeating questions. Just keep taking the tests until you get them all right = an A+ in math.
Rolando Contreras, AZ

I think the program is tremendous. We have only been using it a week, but it has already paid for itself. We are currently using it to "check" homework assignment on a child struggling in Algebra 2 in High School. I set it to save "99" steps and we can see every step of the solution. The explanations at each step are invaluable, since it has been many years since my Algebra days. We haven't had a problem yet it couldn't solve. It is pretty user friendly, and, as long as you enter the problem correctly, there are no problems. Next year we have another child starting High School and Algebra 1. I will be looking forward to the next release of the Algebrator. It is great!
Samuel Lee, CA

What a great friendly interface, full of colors, witch make Algebrator software an easy program to work with, and also it's so easy to work on, u don't have to interrupt your thoughts stream every time u need to interact with the program.

A recent study on sleeping patterns of pilots focused on quantifying deviations from regular sleep hours. A random sample of commercial airline pilots was interviewed, and the pilots in the sample reported the time at which they went to sleep on their most recent working day. The study gave the sample mean and standard deviation of the times reported by pilots, with these times measured in hours after midnight. (Thus, if the pilot reported going to sleep at p.m., the measurement was .) The sample mean was hours, and the standard deviation was hours. Assume that the sample is drawn from a normally distributed population. Find a
