Hi! We just started doing a new topic in algebra regarding word problem of integers and fraction and I did pretty well for most homeworks we had but the latest one my professor gave really complicated so I'd love if someone would teach me to understand it! It’s a problem solving homework my algebra professor gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried answering it but still can’t get it right. I just can’t finish it easily unlike the other homeworks . I had an easy time solving my past homeworks but this particular assignment with specific topic of radical expressions gives me difficulty just knowing how to begin. I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really appreciate if someone help me in explaining the steps and how to solve it in a systematic and clear way.
Hello dear, word problem of integers and fraction can be really challenging if your concepts are not clear. I know this software, Algebrator which has helped a lot of beginners clear their concepts. I have used this software many times when I was in high school and I recommend it to every novice .
I checked up a number of software programs before I zoomed in on Algebrator. This was the most appropriate for graphing parabolas, point-slope and simplifying fractions. It was simple to key in the problem. Instead of just giving the solution, it took me through all the steps explaining all the way until it reached the answer . By the time, I arrived at the answer I learnt how to go about it by myself. I used the program for deciphering my problems in Basic Math, Remedial Algebra and Pre Algebra in math. Do you think that you will like to try this out?

A extraordinary piece of algebra software is Algebrator. Even I faced similar difficulties while solving equivalent fractions, graphing parabolas and syntehtic division. Just by typing in the problem workbookand clicking on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework would be ready. I have used it through several math classes - Basic Math, Remedial Algebra and College Algebra. I highly recommend the program.
